Nexus Factory Images With October Security Patches Are Now Available, Nougat Images Of Nexus 6, 9 Still Missing

We had just reported to you a while back that the October Security Bulletin went live. Factory images for the supported Nexus and Pixel devices have now surfaced up as well.

Nougat factory images for the Nexus 6 & Nexus 9 LTE are still missing, but as we had told you a few days back in an exclusive leak, both the Nexus 6 & Nexus 9 LTE would now be directly be updated to Nougat 7.1, instead of Nougat 7.0.

Marshmallow based factory images have been discontinued for the Nexus 6P & the Nexus 5X. We only have Nougat based images available for these devices.

Here are the new build numbers of this update:

• Pixel C: NRD91D
• Nexus 6P: NBD90X
• Nexus 5X: NBD90W
• Nexus 6: MOB31H
• Nexus Player: NRD91D
• Nexus 9 LTE: Unavailable at the time of writing
• Nexus 9 Wi-Fi: NRD91D
• Nexus 5: M4B30X

To download the factory image for your respective device, head over to Google's Developer Site. We will update this post as and when the factory image for the Nexus 9 LTE will be available.
