Sprint's HTC Bolt is likely to launch globally as ‘HTC 10 evo’
HTC's upcoming smartphone, the Bolt will be exclusive to U.S carrier Sprint. Now Evan Blass has revealed that Bolt will also get an international release as well, under the moniker HTC 10 evo.
We have already seen render and live images of HTC Bolt/ 10 evo, which confirmed the phone will not have the standard 3.5mm headphone jack, instead rely on USB Type-C port for audio output via earphones, joining the likes of LeEco, Motorola and Apple
The design of HTC Bolt/ 10 evo bears a striking resemblance to HTC 10 right down to the fingerprint scanner, antenna line and the all-metal build with chamfered edges, but will be a less powerful smartphone.
As for the specs, the HTC Bolt /10 evo will run Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box with HTC Sense 8 UI on top. It will feature 5.5-inch QHD display, Qualcomm's obsolete Snapdragon 810 processor (known for heating issues), 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, microSD card slot, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, USB Type-C and 3200mAh battery.
It is expected to come in Iron Black and Opal Silver color and priced around $522-$544 (Rs. 36,000).
