The Nokia D1C is a 13.8-inch tablet, reveals GFXBench

Earlier this month a Nokia device code-named D1C surfaced on Geekbench and AnTuTu revealing key specifications, but did not reveal its screen size, leading to speculation that it was a smartphone. However, a new benchmark listing on GFXBench suggests that Nokia D1C is a Android tablet, and not a smartphone.

The listing on GFXBench reveals that Nokia D1C will have a 13.8-inch display with Full HD or 1080p resolution. The tablet will be powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm processor, which could be Snapdragon 430 or Snapdragon 435 chip.

It will have 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage (9GB available to user, 16MP rear camera and 8MP front facing camera. The tablet will run Android 7.0 Nougat.

Most of specs revealed by GFXBench are in line with AnTuTu and Geekbench, expect the storage which was 32GB, indicating the Nokia D1C will come with two storage options.

Nokia has already confirmed that it will come to the market with new Android powered tablet and smartphones in Q4 2016, which has already begun. However, the devices will hit the market in early 2017.

If real, Nokia D1C will be Nokia's second Android tablet after the Nokia N1. Interestingly the Nokia N1 tablet was unveiled in November 2014, which is almost two years ago, so we can expect Nokia to announce its new devices anytime soon.
