Asus ZenFone 3 Max with 4100mAh battery launched in India
The Asus ZenFone 3 Max with a beefier 4100mAh battery has been launched in India. It will be available in two variants based on display sizes – 5.2-inch with model name ZC520TL priced at Rs. 12,999 and 5.5-inch with model name ZC553KL priced at Rs. 17,999.
The ZenFone 3 Max sports a metal unibody design with 2.5D curved glass on the front. On a single charge, the phone is said to deliver 38 days of standby time and 17 hours of talk time. It also supports reverse charging and doubles up as power bank to charge other devices as well.
Apart from battery and design, the ZenFone 3 Max variants has hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE support, rear mounted fingerprint scanner and runs Android Marshmallow with ZenUI 3.0 skin on top.
Individually, the ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) features 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, that can be expanded via microSD card, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It comes in Glacier Silver, Sand Gold and Titanium Gray colors, and is now available for purchase in the country.
The bigger ZenFone 3 Max (ZV553KL) has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, 16MP rear camera (with dual-LED flash) and 8MP camera on the front. It will go on sale by the end of this month, with the same color options as the 5.2-inch model.
