Gionee S9 with dual-rear cameras launching on November 15

Earlier this week, a new Gionne smartphones called S9 along with its variant S9T with dual-rear cameras got certified by Chinese certification agency TENAA. Today the Chinese smartphone maker has announced that the phones will be unveiled on November 15.

The invite Gionee posted on Weibo also confirms that the S9/S9T will sport dual rear camera. These unit will be a combination of 13MP and 5MP, accompanied by dual-LED flash.

As listed on TENAA, the Gionee S9 will be powered by 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, while the S9T will utilise a more powerful 2GHz octa-core processor. The rest of the specifications on both devices will be similar.

The Gionee S9/S9T will feature metal body, 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 13MP front camera hybrid dual SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, 3000mAh battery and fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. They will run Android Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.2 on top.
