OnePlus 3 OxygenOS 3.2.8 brings emergency call feature for India, 1080p 60 fps video recording


OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 3.2.8 update for its flagship the OnePlus 3. This is an incremental update with bug fixes and improvements, and brings a couple of new features like support for 1080p video recording at 60fps, and an emergency calling feature for OnePlus 3 users in India.

The addition of emergency feature is to comply with Indian government order, to add SOS or panic button feature on all smartphones in India to help improve the security of women and increase accountability of the security forces as well. Emergency calling feature can be triggered by rapidly pressing the power button three times.

OnePlus says that the new update is being rolled out to a small percentage of users as of now, and will be soon cover all OnePlus 3 devices globally.
