Panasonice Eluga Mark 2 with fingerprint scanner, 3000mAh battery launched for Rs. 10,499
Panasonic has added a new member to its Eluga series with the launch of Eluga Mark 2, the successor of Eluga Mark. The Eluga Mark 2 comes with the same screen size and camera units as Eluga Mark, but is powered by a MediaTek chip instead of Qualcomm's. Other specs including RAM, storage, OS and battery have also been bumped up, when compared with its one-year old predecessor.
The Panasonic Eluga Mark 2 features 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Asahi Dragon Trail protection and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor backed by Mali T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage capacity is 32GB, which can be further increased via microSD card.
For photography, it includes 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording. The selfie unit on the front is a 5MP camera with 88-degrees wide angle lens.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the connectivity duties on Eluga Mark 2 is handled by hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery with fast charging support.
Other features include Android for Work, rear mounted fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device, and infrared sensor to control TV, AC and other electronic appliances.
The Panasonic Eluga Mark 2 is priced at Rs. 10,499 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart on November 23 in Gold color.
