Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 626, 4GB RAM
Samsung is expected to launch a couple of mid-range smartphones before 2016 ends. While Galaxy A series is due for a refresh, the Galaxy C and J series will be populated with new devices. Recently two Galaxy C series phones, the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro with model number SM-C5010 and SM-C7010 were spotted on Zauba, India's import export tracker.
Now one of them, the Galaxy C7 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench, exposing a couple of specifications. The listing reveals that Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010) will be powered by octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor with 4GB RAM and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Galaxy C7 Pro is expected to have 5.7-inch Full HD display, while its younger sibling the Galaxy C5 Pro will reportedly feature 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM.
The Galaxy C line up are usually slim, trendy and offer decent specs, so we can expect same from the Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro. Some of the features most likely to to be includes in the Galaxy C series are NFC and fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.
So far, the Galaxy C series have been exclusive to China market, but the Zauba listing indicates that Galaxy C series will coming to global markets as well, including India. Rumors claim that the launch could take place late December or early January.
