Selfie-centric vivo V5 with 20MP front camera launching in India on November 15

After launching V3, V3 Max, Y21L 4G and Y55L, vivo is not set launch a new 'V' series smartphone in India on November 15 called V5.

The V5 will be a selfie centric smartphone carrying 20MP front camera accompanied by soft light LED flash, which will provide the capability for excellent selfies even in low light conditions.The main camera of vivo V5 is said to be a 13MP unit and feature an LED flash, PDAF and laser-auto focus.

The vivo V5 is expected to feature 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5 curved glass display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and equipped with Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. It is likely to have a metal unibody design, microSD card card slot, support for 4G VoLTE and the fingerprint sensor that will be embedded into the home button. It will ship with Android Marshmallow.

The phone is expected to be priced around Rs. 20,000 and will compete with the likes of Oppo F1s, Gionee S6s, which are also selfie-centric smartphone.
