Teaser confirms name and design of Snapdragon 821 powered OnePlus smartphone

The upgraded variant of OnePlus 3, that will be powered by Snapdragon 821 chip will arrive on November 15. Multiple reports have suggested that, the upcoming phone will be called OnePlus 3T, and now the company has released a teaser confirming that the phone will have 'T' branding. This pretty much confirms that the upcoming phone will be called OnePlus 3T.

The teaser posted by OnePlus reads – Another self, may be better for you. “T”, coming soon!, accompanied by the device itself, which design-wise is similar to OnePlus 3. OnePlus also shared two more teasers on Twitter that says – More power and More pointing at Snapdragon 821's performance.

OnePlus has already confirmed that the Snapdragon 821 chip will be clocked at 2.35GHz, delivering 10 percentbetter performace compared to Snapdragon 820 powered OnePlus 3. The chip also supports Snapdragon VR SDK, which allows for Daydream support and dual phase detection.

Apart from Snapdragon 821 processor, OnePlus 3 is expected to have a new 16MP Sony IMX398 rear camera, ship with Android Nougat and have a bigger 3500mAh or 4000mAh battery. Other specs are expected to be same as OnePlus 3 including the 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage variants, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port. 

We don't have to wait much long to know all the details of OnePlus 3T, as the launch takes place tomorrow at 11:30pm (IST)
