vivo V5 specs leak reveal 20MP selfie camera with Moonlight flash
Chinese smartphone maker vivo will launch a new smartphone in India on November 15. The phone is called vivo V5 and will be the successor of vivo v3, which was launched back in July and is currently available in the market at Rs. 14,980. Ahead of the event press materials of the vivo v5 has surfaced online revealing complete specifications.
Just like its predecessor, the vivo V5 will be a selfie centric smartphone boasting 20MP camera in the front, which will be a treat for selfie users. It features Moonlight flash, which means the screen lights up to act like flash, when snapping selfies.
The phone also offers premium design and pack impressive hardaware. The vivo V5 will feature metal unibody design, 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display, 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and microSD card slot.
The main camera will be a 13MP unit accompanied by LED flash, PDAF and laser auto-focus. Other features include dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, HiFi AK4367 audio chip and fingerprint sensor (intergrated into the home button. It will run Android Marshmallow based Funtouch OS 2.6 and fueled by 3000mAh battery.
There's also a Plus variant called V5 Plus, and will pack 20MP front camera as well. Other specs are still not known, but we expect it to come with bigger display and battery.
The vivo V5 is expected to be priced under Rs. 20,000. We should know more details of the phones coming Tuesday.
Meanwhile, vivo has also scheduled an event in China on November 16 to launch vivo X9 and X9 Plus. The phones will feature dual-front facing cameras – 20MP + 8MP – accompanied by LED flash.
