Weekly News Update (Oct 26 - Nov 2)
This week has once again seen some big news from the android community, lets take a look at the top stories from the past week.
LG is rumoured to be adding an iris scanner to their next flagship smartphone, the G6.
The iris scanner, first seen on the Samsung note 7, is an alternative to the finger print scanner. The iris scanner has much the same purpose as the finger print scanner, only is can potentially add more security as it will only allows for a matching eye, with the same patterns, size etc. to be allowed entry to the your device.
And with this news also comes the news that the G6 will no longer feature a modular design, like the G5 featured, supposedly due to a massive dip in smartphone sales for LG.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is coming on November 4th. The image to the right is a render of what the phone will supposedly look like.
The specs for the Redmi 4 are not official, but are expected to look a little like:
- 5" FHD Display (Bumped up from HD Display in Redmi 3)
- Snapdragon 625 (Expected)
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB ROM
- 4000mAh Battery
- 13/5MP Camera
Those specs are quite impressive, and with a battery of that size i'm sure it will last far more than one day before it'll need charging.
