Wileyfox Swift 2, Swift 2 Plus with Cyanogen OS 13.1 announced

UK based smartphone maker Wileyfox has announced to new budget smartphones called Swift 2 and Swift 2 Plus running Cyanogen OS 13 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Wileyfox Swift 2 has 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels IPS 2.5D display with a layer of Corning's Gorilla Glass for protection. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

The camera department is handled by 13MP main camera with dual-LED flash, PDAF, Samsung 3L8 sensor and 1080p video recording. For video calling and selfies there's 8MP camera on the front. Just below the main camera there's a fingerprint scanner.

Connectivity options include hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C. It is fueled by 2700mAh battery has support for Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.

The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus on the other hand comes with upgraded specs like 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 16MP camera. Rest are similar to Wileyfox Swift 2.

Coming to the pricing, the Wileyfox Swift 2 and Swift 2 Plus are priced at £159 ($197 | Rs. 13,000) and £189 ($234 | Rs. 15,600), respectively.They are now available for purchase in the U.K in Gold, Midnight and Rose colors.
