Xiaomi launches the water-proof Mi Sports Bluetooth headset in China

Xiaomi has unveiled a pair of Bluetooth headset called Mi Sports in its home market of China. The brand's first rugged Bluetooth headset sports an in-ear loop design to holds it around ears of a user to keep it from falling out, and is IPX4 rated making them water and sweat resistant.

The Mi Sports Bluetooth headset is fueled by a 1100mAh battery which can run for 7 hours straight or offer 280 hours standby time. It can simultaneously connect to two devices via Bluetooth 4.1 within a range of 10 meters.

The headset comes with a built-in MEMS microphone for clear audio along with an in-line button to accept calls and on-ear controls to adjust volume. It weighs in at 17.8g.

The Mi Sports comes in black or white hues, with five different sizes of silicon ear tips. The Bluetooth headset is priced at CNY 149 ($22 | Rs. 1,500) and will go on sale in China on November 11.
