Xolo Era 4G gets Android Marshmallow treat

Earlier this year, Xolo launched the Era 4G smartphone in India for Rs. 4,777 running Android 5.1 Lollipop. Noq the company has rolled out Android Marshmallow update for the device.

The update is being rolled out over-the-air, and you'll be notified when the update is ready for your device. You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Update. The Marshmallow update will bring user interface changes, stability improvements, speed optimizations, some bug fixes, Doze Mode, App Permissions, Now on Tap and more.

To refresh, the Xolo Era 4G features 5-inch HD IPS Gorilla Glass display, 1.5GHz Spreadtrum SC9830A quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage, 5MP/2MP cameras, 4G VoLTE and 2500mAh battery. Currently it is available for Rs. 4,444 via Amazon India, Snapdeal, Gadgets360 and Flipkart.
