Android Nougat Beta Builds Are Now Available For Coolpad Note 5

Google had released Android Nougat back in August and since then Google has been working closely with OEMs in bringing up the latest iteration of Android to their devices. As we had even told you before, Google had requested the device manufacturers to start testing out Nougat on their existing line up of devices.

Coolpad has now launched it's own beta program. In fact, Coolpad is one the few OEMs out in the market to have a community program for testing out latest Android releases. Coolpad Note 5 owners can now be a part of this program and can volunteer to test Nougat on their devices. Through the means of this program, Coolpad intends to take the help of the community in bringing up Nougat for it's devices by taking in feedback and bug reports. 

The company has also said that it will be rolling out the Nougat update to the Coolpad Note 5 owners in the coming days.

Interestingly, Coolpad's previous offerings including that of the Coolpad Note 3  and Note 3 Lite are yet to even receive the Marshmallow OTA.
