Official Builds Of Dirty Unicorns 11 Are Now Up For Grabs

After more than two months of testing, Dirty Unicorns 11 has finally emerged out of the beta phase and the official builds of the ROM are now up for grabs. 

The ROM builds can be downloaded from the official website of Dirty Unicorns. As far as the installation part goes, make sure you do a clean wipe before flashing the ROM. 

The ROM will be constantly updated through the medium of weekly builds. Once the ROM has reached another stable milestone, the ROM version will be updated and a new release will be made.

As we had even reported earlier, Dirty Unicorns had chosen Substratum over CyanogenMod Theme Engine (CMTE) for providing the theming services in their Nougat based release. This certainly turned out to be an apt decision as Cyanogen Inc had announced yesterday that they will be culminating the operations of CyanogenMod (CM) by the end of this month. Moreover, the bringing up of CMTE has been slower than expected this year and as a matter of fact CMTE is not even a part of the official nightly builds at the moment. With only a week left before CyanogenMod's demise and with CMTE nowhere around the corner, we certainty can't expect CMTE to be introduced in CM now. Even though CM will be returning to the foreground under the brand name of LineageOS, it will definitely take some time for LineageOS to come up. Thus the decision taken to move over to Substratum will benefit DU in the long run.
