Play Store Adds Card Slider, Changes Color Shade In Buttons and What's New
Play Store has been getting better and better (sometimes odd, will be defined below) in terms of design since the last 2 months with the server side updates. Some people tend to hate the server side thing but it seems like Google will stick to this method only. Now, with the new update, Play Store will show you apps in what we would call a Card Slider interface. This interface is similar to the cards you might have seen in Material Design layouts and using this interface, when a user clicks on one app to view more information and screenshots related with the app, they can still view all the other related apps (apps belonging to the same category) just by sliding or swiping their way back and forth through app info pages. With the help of this slider, the cumbersomeness of viewing the related apps will be decreased and the user will not have to go back and then see the next related app.
Don't worry if you haven't seen this change till now, it will be live to all in a server side fashion, which should not take much time to rollout to everyone.
Now, Google has done another modification to the color shade and if you ask us, that kind of looks odd to the main scheme of Play Store in our opinion. This is how the Play Store will look like after the update:

Because of the large difference in the color timges that seems very odd , doesn't it? It feels like the interface has not been changed perfectly and it lacks certain nuances. Also, the text color of What's New has that same darker green shade which also seems to look odd when we see the badges in the lighter shade. We reckon some more changes to interface are still on the way which will make this modified interface look complete.
Just in case if you are wondering, Our play store version is -
