Rumor: Samsung To Ditch Hardware Keys & Will Bring Soft Keys Having 3D Touch Capabilities For Galaxy S8, Fingerprint Sensor To Be Moved
Rumour mill is on full power yet again and it's covering up all the rumors surrounding the devices slated to be released in 2017, including the upcoming Galaxy S8. It's more anticipated than ever because of the Note 7 debacle. Now, Samsung is rumored to be doing all things different this time from hardware to software, so that it can recover the loss it came across in terms of money and reputation after the Note 7 fiasco.
The latest rumor about Galaxy S8 says that it will not be having the fingerprint sensor at front and there's no confirmation as to where it will be moved now. Continuing about the design, Galaxy S8 might prove out to be a game changer this time. David Ruddock had tweeted about this saying that according to a source (which may or may not be reliable), there will not be any physical/hardware keys for the device and Samsung is focussing on adding soft keys for all the normal functionalities which will also be having 3D Touch capabilities making it regulating other relative tasks easy. So, if all this stands true, it's a serious game for the smartphone industry. Also, Samsung will be focusing on battery too as they have to make every move with utmost care.
Galaxy S8 is slated to be announced in April and the release should be soon after. Now, it's all about renders and leaks that might be on the way. Let's wait for it.
