Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) surface in renders
Samsung is working on a slew of mid-range smartphones in the Galaxy A, Galaxy J and Galaxy C series. Now information of a J series smartphone, the J7 (2017) has hit the inter-webs.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) was first spotted on India's import/export tracking website Zauba and and recently received Bluetooth (SIG) and WiFi certification carrying model number SM-J727V which revealed Bluetooth 4.2 and Android 7.0 Nougat on-board.
Apart from these, nothing much has changed. The Galaxy J7 (2017) has micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, primary and secondary headphone at bottom and top respectively and Samsung's trademark physical home button. It is not clear whether the home button will double as fingerprint scanner or not.
Interestingly, the Galaxy J7 (2017) design appears to be similar to Galaxy Emerge, which is expected to launch in the U.S on January 6. Renders of the phone was recently shared by Evan Blass.
According to the report, Galaxy J7 (2017) will have 5.5-inch display, same as its predecessor, but come with Full HD AMOLED display instead of HD found on the 2016 model. The phone has a dimension of 51.34 x 76.20 x 8mm.
As for the other specs, the Galaxy J7 (2017) is rumored to feature octa-core Qualcomm/Snapdragon chip, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and 13MP/5MP cameras.
