Samsung rumored to launch two Windows tablet at CES 2017

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab Pro S, the company's first Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet with top-notch specs at CES earlier this year in January as a competitor to Microsoft's Surface Pro 4. Now according to Sam Mobile, the South Korean tech giant is planning to launch two Windows tablet at CES 2017 in Las Vegas next month.

One of the Samsung's new Windows tablet has the model number SM-W720, and will be the successor of the existing Galaxy TabPro S (SM-W700). The other Windows tablet carries the model number SM-W620 and is expected to be smaller version of SM-W720 with a smaller display and toned down specifications.

To refresh, the Galaxy Tab Pro S boasted powerful hardware including 12-inch 2160 x 1440 Super AMOLED display, Intel Core M processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 5MP rear camera, USB Type-C port and 5200mAh battery. It also came it a full sized keyboard cover with touchpad.

The source notes that the information is unconfirmed so a grain of salt is advised. Interestingly Microsoft is also expected to launch the Surface Pro 5 in Q1 2017.
