WhatsApp Is Testing Message Editing and Revoking Abilities
WhatsApp is getting better day by day in terms of features and the company with just 55 employees does not seem to ever lack on innovation. Yea, we are saying innovation because from being just a simple messaging platform it has progressed to a full-fledged package app that has almost all the things a user might want from a communication app. Still, the feature additions seem to be unstoppable as well and WhatsApp has consistently been improving itself with the useful addition of features & abilities that help and improve user experience.
This shot comes in from the Twitter handle of WABetaInfo which digs out certain hidden features in development from the app. Message Editing and Revoking(Recall) being the latest additions(testing phase) will come to iOS first as the shot tells it is being tested on iOS.
Editing will help you to correct or add information to the messages you sent while revoking will take the message back and will display Sender revoked the message in place of what you sent earlier. These two things have been long awaited and it's good to see them taking the final shape to work for masses.
The Status feature which we reported earlier being dressed for a new avatar in the app is also in the final stages and one should expect it to appear anytime soon through beta first and stable release later.
