LG G6 Will Be A Minimum Bezel and Waterproof Phone As Teaser Promises

We had earlier reported the rumours on LG G6 and company's plans for 2017. As we had told you before, LG Electronics is not going to repeat what had happened last year with the LG G5. Over the course of last year, LG has had lost hefty sums in it's mobile business. In order to avoid last year's mishaps, LG G6 will be available earlier than expected. But LG is not satisfied with just that, it also intends to grab attention with the device even before it hits the shelves. Keeping that in mind, LG will be showcasing the G6 at the Mobile World Congress 2017. The G6 will reportedly hit the stores well before Samsung's Galaxy S8.

The LG G6 teaser suggests that the G6 will have a minimal bezel display, great camera and a waterproof design. The teaser indicates that LG is building a ideal flagship device to take down Apple's iPhone 7 series and Samsung's upcoming array of flagship devices.

Two days back LG Display had announced their latest achievement - a 5.7-inch Quad HD LCD display for the G6. The display cuts down on bezels to pack a big screen in a smaller body. Everyone these days wants a bigger display which fits in the pockets. The G6 is going to have that with the bezel less design. The display is going to have a 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2880x1440 pixels. It also offers a pixel density of 564ppi.

One of the most common features we have seen in all the high end flagship devices from LG over the past couple of years has been the waterproof design. The G6 doesn't miss out on this front either and as the teaser suggests, it will also incorporate the waterproof design. As per the teaser, the G6 is expected to come with dual rear cameras to capture it all. LG has also said that even with all these specs, the G6 will be a reliable smartphone.

If LG can get all this right and put a good processor under the hood, then the fate will be different this year for LG, but it would be a hard one for other flagship makers like Samsung and Apple.
