LG X300 with Snapdragon 425 processor, Android Nougat announced
LG has introduced a new mid-range smartphone called X300 in home market of South Korea. It is a re-branded K8 (2017), (which was launched ahead of CES last year), exclusive for South Korean carriers. Interestingly X300 was also the name of a LG laptop, which was launched back in 2010.
Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the LG X300 feature 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor paired with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB RAM. The Storage capacity is 16GB, which can be expanded via microSD card slot.
The camera department includes 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling. In terms of connectivity it gets support for 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. There's also a fingerprint scanner at the back and a 2500mAh battery keeps the lights on.
The LG X300 is priced at 253,000 Korean Won ($216 | Rs. 15,000) and will be available from January 18. It comes in Silver and Dark Blue hues.
