Oppo Find 9 could launch in March, specs and pricing leaked
Oppo launched the flagship Find 7 smartphone back in 2014 boasting QHD display and a Super Zoom feature to produce 50MP photos. It's been three years, and a successor is long due, but now it looks like the wait is over. According to report coming out of China, Oppo is expected to introduce Find 9 in March.
The Oppo Find 9 is rumored to have bezel-less screen on the sides and very slim bezels at the top and bottom, similar to Xiaomi's Mi MIX. Similarly, there is no home button and the fingerprint sensor is baked under the display.
As far the specs are concerned, the Oppo Find 9 is expected to sport 5.5-inch Quad HD display and arrive in multiple variants carrying Snapdragon 835/Snapdragon 653 chips, 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage.
Oppo has always given special importance to photography on its smartphone offerings like R9/R9 Plus, F1/F1 Plus, and Find 9 will be no different. For photography, the Find 9 is rumored to come with 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording capabilities. The front camera is a 16MP units which could be the same found on most of Oppo's selfie-centric smartphones launched last year (Oppo F1/F1s/F1 Plus, Oppo A57).
Other features include fingerprint scanner, microSD card slot, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE and 4100mAh battery backed by VOOC flash charge fast charging technology. It will run a new version of Find OS on a new AI system, that will be based on Android Nougat.
The Oppo Find 9 is rumored to launch carrying a starting price tag of CNY 3999 ($580 | Rs. 40,000).
