Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro with 6GB RAM launched in India for Rs. 36,900
Samsung has officially launched the metal clad Galaxy C9 Pro in India for Rs. 36,900. The Galaxy C9 Pro can be pre-booked through select stores and online platform starting January 27, and will go on sale in the latter half of 2017.
The Galaxy C9 Pro is Samsung's first smartphone to pack 6GB RAM. It was unveiled back in October last year, and India is one of the first market to get it.
Running Android Marshmallow, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro features a larger 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor (w/ Adreno 510 GPU), 64GB internal storage, microSD card slot and 4000mAh battery.
It comes with 16MP f/1.9 rear camera with dual-LED flash, and 16MP f/1.9 front camera as well, for selfies and video calling. Other features include dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, NFC, USB Type-C and fingerprint scanner (baked into the home button). It weighs 189g, but has a thickness of just 6.9mm in spite of the bigger battery.
The Galaxy C9 Pro will be available in Black and Gold hues. Samsung is also offering one-time screen replacement for a period of 12 months to those who pre-book the handset.
