[Specs Hunt] Moto G5(XT1672) Specifications By Anatel, The Brazillian FCC

Moto has never been out of leaks and rumors, the same was with G4 which leaked way before the release and we are seeing the same with the G5, whose pictures have been circulating lately. It's time that the specs hunt brings in the details for what is believed to be the smaller member of the G5(Probably the G5 Play) having the model number XT1672.

The image comes in from Anatel, which is also known as the Brazillian FCC, and that's why the language in the image is Portugese. However, the spec sheet says not so much different story then the G4 Play -

• Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Processor
• 2GB of RAM
• 32GB of storage (Extendable upto 128GB)
• 5-inch screen with Full HD resolution
• 13/5 Megapixel Cameras
• 4G
• 2,800 mAh battery

What makes us believe that this should be the Play variant of the G5 series is the Snadragon 430 chipset, as the Plus version is slated to come in with 625 chipset. 

To talk about what makes G5 Play different than its predecessor, we have got you covered based on the specs. In terms of performance, G5 Play is having Snapdragon 430 which remained 410 in G4 Play. This time, there are 8 cores which were 4 earlier. Storage has been bumped up to 32GB and the major hardware difference is that the sim slot is going to be Nano in fashion. All the other stuff like RAM, Camera and Battery remains the same in both the devices which is a strange move, atleast battery should have been increased.

Other rumored specs includes NFC support to regulate Android Pay inclusion. DTV Dongle television tuner has been a part of the package since the very leaks surfaced.
