Google and LG introduce Watch Sport and Watch Style Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches
Google is marking it's debut into the wearable space with the launch of two smartwatches ― Watch Sport and Watch Style ― running the latest Android Wear 2.0 platform. Google has collaborated with LG to design the new smartwatches.
The LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style feature circular P-OLED display and come with rotating power buttons that lets you navigate through the system, bring up app launcher and more. They are also resistant to water and dust, and come pre-loaded with Google Assistant, which can answer the questions you ask. It can also be triggered using the power buttons.
Google says the LG Watch Sport is the most powerful Android Wear smartwatch till date. It sports high-performance elastomer strap, GPS for tracking activities and navigation, heart rate sensor, cellular connectivity and NFC for payments via Android Pay. It also has dedicated buttons to trigger Google Fit and Android Pay.
The LG Watch Sport specs include 1.38-inch display, Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip, 768MB RAM, 64GB storage, IP68 rating, a speaker & microphone, and a 430mAh battery.

The LG Watch Sport is priced at $349 (Rs. 23,400) and comes in titanium and dark blue colors, and the LG Watch Style costs $249 (Rs. 16,700) and will comes in silver, rose gold and titanium colors. The Watch Sport will be available via Best Buy and Google Play Store, while the Watch Style will be available from AT&T, Verizon and Google Store in the U.S starting from February 10.
Both smartwatches will also be available through carriers and retailers across Canada, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, UAE and UK in the coming weeks.
