Huawei P8 lite (2017) could be sold as Nova lite in select markets

Huawei's P8 Lite (2017) recently launched in Finland as Honor 8 Lite. Now according to Evan Blass, the same smartphone will release in some select markets under a new name called Huawei Nova Lite.

Unfortunately the exact release date, and the markets where the phone will launch are still unknown.

Apart from the name, nothing else has changed. To refresh the specs, similar to P8 Lite (2017)/Honor 8 Lite, the Nove Lite will be a mid-range smartphone featuring 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display, octa-core Kirin 655 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 12MP/8MP cameras, dual-SIM slots, microSD card slot, 4G LTE, NFC, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery. It will ship with Android Nougat based EMUI 5.0.

In Europe The Huawei P8 Lite (2017)/Honor 8 Lite retails for around $260 (Rs. 17,000), so the Nova Lite could have a similar price tag.
