Rugged Ulefone Armor 2 with Helio P25, 6GB RAM to debut at MWC

Chinese device maker Ulefone, announced its first rugged smartphone dubbed Armor last year with mid-range specs. Now the company is all set to launch its successor Armor 2 and it will include beefier specs than Armor.

The Armor 2 will carry forward the IP68 dust and water proof body as the Armor, but get a new stronger metal-plastic hybrid armor to give it a more premium look. There's also a home button below the display, which is most likely to hide the fingerprint sensor. It also has six hardware keys.

The specs include 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor, 6GB RAM, 16MP camera, bigger battery and NFC support.

It's worth mentioning that the Armor 2 will be the first smartphone to utilize Helio P25 processor. The chip has been design using 16nm fabrication process and promises exceptional battery life.

The Ulefone Armor 2 will be presented at MWC 2017, Barcelona and go on sale later this year. We will get more details on the complete specs soon.
