Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is a 9.7-inch tablet powered by SD820 and Nougat

Samsung at its MWC event in Barcelona has officially announced the Galaxy Tab S3, a flagship Android tablet boasting powerful innards, capable of competing with Apple's iPad Pro and Microsoft's Surface Pro. The tablet sports a premium metal body and is just 6mm thick, making it one of the slimmest Android tablet available in the market.

Much like iPad Pro and Surface Pro, the Galaxy Tab S3 comes with a S Pen, which has a smaller 0.7mm tip and increased pressure sensitivity, and an optional keyboard accessory. The keyboard connects to the tablet via magnetic connector. The tablet also has a fingerprint sensor, which is embedded into the home button. It runs Android Nougat and includes quad-stereo speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN.

Coming to the specs, the Galaxy Tab S3 features 9.7-inch QXGA (2048×1536 pixel) Super AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor, further aided by Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM. It comes with 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

The tablet is equipped with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The tablet will be offered in WiFi and 4G LTE variants, and supports HDR 10 (for true-to-life colors and vivid digital content), USB Type-C, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth. It is backed by 6000mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is priced at 679 Euros ($717 | Rs. 47,800) for the WiFi only model and 769 Euros ($812 | Rs. 54,000) for the WiFi+LTE variant. It will be released in the coming weeks and will be available in Black and Silver hues.
