Xiaomi to launch Redmi Note 4X on February 14

Xiaomi will announce a new smartphone on February 14, 2017. The upcoming  Redmi Note 4X has has already surfaced in live images back in December last year.

Xiaomi has teased the valentines day announcement on weibo. The post suggests that the Redmi Note 4X will be introduced by a new brand ambassador as a "Special Valentine's Day Gift".

The Redmi Note 4X will be and upgraded variant of Redmi Note 4 with more RAM. The Redmi Note 4 had 3GB RAM, but the Redmi Note 4X is expected to pack 4GB RAM. It will be powered by MediaTek Helio X20 processor, the same used in Redmi Note 4. However, reports suggests that there will be a Snapdragon 653 powered model as well for the global market.

As far as other specs are concerned, the Redmi Note 4X is rumored to come with 5.5-inch Full HD display, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage options, 13MP/5MP cameras, fingerprint scanner and 4100mAh battery. 

It is also expected sport a new metal unibody design and the fingerprint sensor will be embedded into the home button at the front, instead of being placed at the back.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X price is rumored to start at CNY 1299 ($190 | Rs. 13,000). We should know all the official details regarding the phone when it launches next Tuesday.
