Apple releases iOS 10.3, watchOS 3.2 and macOS Sierra 10.12.4
Following beta tests Apple has finally started rolling out iOS 10.3 update to supported devices. It has also rolled out updates to Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV as well.
The iOS 10.3 update for iPhone and iPad brings features like Find My AirPods, which lets users to find their misplaced AirPods using Find My iPhone app. This feature shows a map of where the AirPods are, given they're connected to the iPhone, if not, the map will show the location where the AirPods were last connected.
Other new features include CarPlay improvements, Apple's new Apple File System (APFS), which replaces the current HFS+ file system in iOS devices for encryption and storage improvements, new dynamic app icons and support for thread view in Mail.
Siri also gets new features like cricket scores update and stats for IPL and ICC, schedule ride with booking apps and checking car fuel/lock status/turning on lights/ activating horn via automaker app.
For Apple Watch, the watchOS 3.2 is rolling out which adds Theater mode, that keeps Apple Watch's screen dark when you raise your wrist. This feature will come handy when watching movies in a theater, and also turns the silent mode on. Siri gets new features as well, and now works with third-party apps like WhatsApp, Lyft and more.
Apple's macOS 10.12.4 adds Night Shift mode to Mac devices, that allows users to adjust the screen to warmer colors at night, making the display easier on their eyes. In the morning display returns to its regular settings.
tvOS 10.2 for Apple TV adds Accelerated Scrolling support for UIKit and TVMLKit apps, Device Enrollment Program support, Expanded Mobile Device Management support, Support for the VideoToolbox framework, bug fixes, and improvements. Apple's TV Remote app is also being updated with iPad support, enhanced Now Playing, performance and stability improvements.
