Intex Aqua Prime 4G with 5.5-inch display, VoLTE launched at Rs. 6,555

Earlier this week, domestic smartphone maker Intex launched the entry-level 4-inch Aqua 4G Mini for 4,199. Now the brand is back with another Aqua series phone, with better specs than Aqua 4G Mini. Dubbed Aqua Prime 4G, it joins Intex's growing list of VoLTE enabled smartphone, and can be used with Jio SIM for HD calling.

The Intex Aqua Prime 4G runs Android Marshmallow and comes with 5.5-inch HD IPS display, quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, which can be increased via microSD card.

It gets 8MP f/2.2 rear camera with dual-LED flash and HDR. For selfies and video calling there's 2MP front camera assisted by a single-LED flash. Connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2800mAh battery runs the show that promises up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time.

The Intex Aqua Prime 4G sports textured back, and comes in three color including White, Grey and Champagne. It is listed on the company website at Rs. 6,555 and will go on sale soon.
