Lava launches A73 and X28+ with Android Marshmallow, selfie flash


Lava has launched two new mid-range smartphones in India dubbed A73 and X28+. The dual-SIM phones run Android Marshmallow, and the A73 supports only 3G networks, while the X28+ gets 4G VoLTE support. They also have selfie flash.

The Lava A72 features 5-inch FWVGA (800 x 480 pixels) TN display and is powered by 1.2GHz processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. There's 5MP front and rear camera, both with LED flash, and packs a 2200mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Lava X28+ on the other hand has a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card. It gets 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera both assisted by LED flash, and supports dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. A 2600mAh battery runs the show, which is rated to deliver 271 hours of standby time and 15.5 hours of talk time.

The Lava A73 is priced at Rs. 5,149 and will be available in Dark Grey color, while the Lava X28+ costs Rs. 7,199 and comes in Gold, grey and Coffee colors.
