Samsung Galaxy S8 press render leaked
Samsung at MWC confirmed that the company's flagship device the Galaxy S8 will be officially announced on March 29. Now ahead of the event, the official looking press render of Galaxy S8 has hit the interwebs courtesy of Evan Blass.
The new render shows the front part of Galaxy S8, and is in line with previous leak reveling the clean and sleek design and top-notch finish, just like LG's G6. Similar to LG G6, the Galaxy S8 will have edge-to-edge display with narrow bezels on top and bottom. However, Galaxy S8 will have curved edges on left and right side.
Samsung is likely to follow LG's footstep, in squeezing the big display to a small form factor. While LG G6 squeezed the 5.7-inch display to a 5.2-inch body, Samsung is expected to fit the 5.8-inch display to a 5.1-inch body.
Also seen in the render is the Iris scanner which sits on the top bezel, while the Home Button, which hid the fingerprint sensor is no where to be seen.
The press render also shows March 29 as the date on the display, which as mentioned earlier is the phone's official unveiling date.
