Samsung launches Nougat powered Galaxy J7 V in the US
Samsung has launched the mid-range Galaxy J7 V in the US exclusively for carrier Verizon. It is is the first Galaxy J series device to run Android Nougat and packs decent specs.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 V features 5.5-inch HD 2.5D glass display and is powered by Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU and 2GB RAM. Storage capacity on-board is 16GB, which is expandable via microSD card.
The camera department includes 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera for selfies and video chats. The dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, and is fueled by a 3300mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 12 days of standby time and up to 40 hours of normal usage.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 V is priced at $240 (Rs. 15,000) or $10 per month for 24 months. It is available in the US through Verizon store and Verizon's website at VZW.com. The Galaxy J7 V is also expected to launch in India, as Galaxy J7 (2017) and will be powered by an Exynos chip.
