Nougat 7.1.2 With April Security Patch Is Now Being Rolled Out To The Nexus, Pixel & Android One Devices
Google had published the Nougat 7.1.1 factory and OTA images of the April security patch just a few minutes back. The factory and OTA images of Nougat 7.1.2 have now been made available as well. The April security patch is included in these images.
The update (7.1.1 or 7.1.2) you will get depends upon the carrier your device is affiliated to and your country of residence. The build numbers of the new images are as follows:
Pixel / Pixel XL: N2G47E/N2G47J
Pixel C: N2G47D
Nexus 5X: N2G47F
Nexus 6P: N2G47H
Nexus Player: N2G47H
Several reports had claimed earlier today that Android 7.1.2 was being rolled out to the Pixel C and Nexus Player. The factory and OTA images certify that the update is indeed being rolled out. Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 have reached their end of life status and thus don't doing find a mention in the build numbers.
You can grab the OTA images from here, factory images from here and read the April security bulletin here. The update is being rolled out via OTA and you would be receiving an update notification shortly. If you refuse to wait, you can flash the OTA and factory images via ADB.
