ZTE outs MAX XL with 6-inch display, 3990mAh battery, Android 7.1.1 in the US
Earlier today, ZTE launched the dual-camera toting 6-inch Blade Max 2 phablet in the U.S exclusively for mobile carrier US Cellular. The Chinese smartphone maker also launched another smartphone called Max XL. The new budget smartphone will be exclusive to customers of mobile carrier Sprint's Boost Mobile.
Running the latest Android 7.1.1, the ZTE MAX XL comes with 6-inch Full HD display and is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, further aided by Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be increased via microSD card (up to 128GB).
For photography, MAX XL features 13MP rear camera with an LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It also supports Sprint's HPUE LTE (High Performance User Equipment) technology, to deliver faster network speeds and beeter coverage. A fingerprint scanner is located at the back, while the 3990mAh battery inside will keep the lights on.
The ZTE MAX XL is priced at $130 (Rs. 8,400), and will be available in the US via Boost Mobile in Black color. It also expected to make its way to Sprint and Virgin Mobile.
