Asus ZenFone Go 5.5 with 5.5-inch display, 3000mAh battery launched in India at Rs. 8,499

Asus is launching an upgraded model of ZenFone Go 5.0 (ZB500KL) in India with larger display and a bigger battery capacity. The new ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL) features 5.5-inch screen with Bluelight filter and 3000mAh battery.

Apart from these changes, the rest of the specs remains same as the 5-inch model. The new ZenFone Go 5.5 comes with HD display, Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

The camera department is handled by 13MP f/2.0 rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, and 5MP  PixelMaster f/2.0 selfie cameras on the front. The phone's camera app offers modes like Back Light (HDR) Mode, Low Light Mode, Manual Mode (for DSLR-like camera detail settings), Real Time Beautification Mode, Super Resolution Mode (for up to 4X resolution photos), Night Mode, Photo Effect Mode, Selfie Panorama, and Selfie Mode.

In terms of connectivity there's dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. For software, it boots Android Marshmallow based ZenUI 3.0.

The new ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL) is priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be available exclusively through Amazon India in Charcoal Black and Sheer Gold hues. The exact release date is not known.
