Possible Asus ZenFone Go 2 with dual cameras spotted on TENAA
A new mid-range smartphone from Asus carrying model number Asus-X051D has been certified by China's TENAA. It was also spotted on GFXBench as well and is being reportedly called ZenFone Go 2.
If true, ZenFone Go 2 will get a major specs and design upgrade over its predecessor. It packs impressive set of specs including dual-cameras and a massive battery capacity.
As per TENAA, Asus ZenFone Go 2 will have 5.5-inch HD display and will be powered by an unknown 1.5GHz octa-core processor. However, GFXBench reveals the processor to be MediaTek MT6750 backed by Mali-T860 MP2 GPU.
The ZenFone Go 2 will come in multiple variants packing 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. For photography, it will reportedly rock dual-cameras at the back, one with 13MP sensor, while the front facing camera unit is an 5MP sensor. It runs Android Nougat based Zen UI 3.0, supports VoLTE, and will get a beefy 4850mAh battery. There's also a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.
The device is expected to be officially unveiled at Computex 2017, which kicks off May 30, until May June 3. When it releases, the ZenFone Go 2 will come in Black and Mocha Gold hues.
