ZTE Axon 7 Gets Updated To Support 256GB Memory Cards & Night Mode

ZTE had upgraded the Axon 7 to Nougat 7.0 in February which had then made the Axon 7 the cheapest Daydream VR handset priced at $400. Later on in March the Axon 7 went on to become one of the earliest non-Google smartphones to be updated to Android 7.1.1. Keeping pace with constant updates for the Axon 7, ZTE has announced the commencement of another update rollout for their flagship smartphone. The update changelog is as follows:

  • Enables "Night Mode" setting
  • Supports 256GB microSD cards
  • Allows users to disable some stock apps
  • Optimizes the "Do Not Disturb" function
  • Fixes various Wi-Fi Calling issues
  • Improves device stability and security
  • Miscellaneous performance improvements and other fixes

The build number of the update is B25. ZTE has advised the Axon 7 owners to remove their SD cards before installing the update to avoid potential interruptions during the update's installation.
