Android 7.1.1 rolling out to Moto Z Play
Over the weekend, Motorola released Android 7.1.1, along with May's Android security patch for the 2015's Moto X. Now the company is rolling out Android 7.1.1 to last year's budget semi-modular Moto Z Play as well starting with the US. Moreover, select users who are in the soak test program in India and Brazil are also getting the update.
The update brings a couple of new features including new emojis to promote gender equality, GIF keyboard support and more, along with additional Moto Mods support, stability improvements, bug fixes and June 1 Android security patches.
The update is rolling out OTA, and if you're device is ready for the update you'll be notified automatically, otherwise you can do a manual check by going to settings>about phone> software update.
