Honor 8 Pro Is Coming to India on 6th July, Amazon Exclusive

Finally, the Honor 8 Pro is coming to India on the 6th of July as an Amazon Exclusive. Judging by the specs, the device can be a competitor of the OnePlus 5, which was launched last week. If you are planning to buy a OnePlus 5, take a look at the Honor 6 Pro before buying the chinese flagship killer. Honor has already launched two Honor 8 variants - the Honor 8 and Honor 8 Lite, and also the Honor 8 Pro.The latter has already launched in Europe, priced at EUR 549 (approx RS 39,500 in India). The phone will only be available on Amazon Exclusive, and you can stay updated with the Notify Me option that Amazon offers. The Honor 8 Pro has an Ultra-thin metal body.

The smartphone has a 5.70" Quad HD (1140x2560px) display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with an eye protection mode and Advanced color management. It comes equipped with both the Google Cardboard and the Jaunt VR app means you can watch 360° videos and play VR games on the phone.

This smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-core Kirin 960 processor coupled with a Mali-G71 MP8 with the Cortex A53 architecture. THe Honor 8 Pro comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via a MicroSD card. It has a Hybrid SIM Slot.

In terms of photography, the phone has 12MP Dual camera setup with a monochrome camera and an RGB camera ( f/2.2, phase detection, and laser autofocus, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama). The phone has an 8MP front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0.

The Honor 8 Pro runs on Android 7.0, skinned with EMUI 5.1. The phone packs a 4000mAh battery with the new SmartPower 5.0 technology. Connectivity Included, Dual 4G SIM, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm Audio jack, NFC, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. Sensors include a Hall sensor. Infrared sensor, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Digital compass, Gravity sensor, Gyroscope, Status indicator. The dimentions are as follows: 157 x 77.50 x 6.97 mm. Together with the battery, the phone weighs 184g.
