Blu Life One X Is Being Updated To Marshmallow 6.0 In 2017

If Android One devices getting the May security patch in July wasn't enough, this is even better. Whilst the manufacturers are still busy in updating their phones to Nougat, Blu decided to update it's Life One X to Marshmallow. Interestingly, both the Life One X and Marshmallow were released in 2015. The Life One X was powered by Lollipop at the time of it's launch and Blu assured of a Marshmallow update for the device.

Although we do welcome the update, the timeline of the update is a bit weird. Moreover, Android O is slated to be released in the third quarter this year, and if you haven't realized yet, we are already in the third quarter of 2017.

If you haven't received the update yet, you should be getting it really soon since the update was released a few weeks ago in June. Before proceeding with the update installation, Blu advises you to ensure that your device's battery is charged to at least 30% and you have at least 1.5GB of free space on your device.
