KFC made a chicken box that doubles as gaming controller
KFC India in collaboration with Mountain Dew has launched a limited edition unique meal-box that doubles as a wireless gaming controller for your smartphone.
Dubbed Gamer's Box 2.0, it has physical gaming controllers split into two and is attached to the left and right side of the box. The controller consists of an analog stick, D-pad, media keys and two trigger buttons. There's a slot on the top to mount your phone.
And the phone pairs with the controllers on the meal box through Bluetooth, and there are LEDs to indicate the pairing is successful. The controller is compatible with devices running Android and iOS devices and can be charged using a normal smartphone charger.
Unfortunately, only 10 Gamers Box 2.0 is up for grabs via a contest held by KFC and Mountain Dew. To win one, all you have to do is, log on to KFC India and Mountain Dew's Facebook, Twitter or Instagram page, and tag a friend that you feel deserves to win the Gamer Box 2.0.
This is not the first time KFC is turning a meal box into a unique and whacky gadget. Back in 2016, it released Watt A Box, a box of chicken, that doubles as a charger. Earlier this month KFC marked its 30th anniversary in China, and in partnership with Huawei introduced limited-edition KFC Huawei Enjoy 7.
