Moto G5S Plus new render and specs leaked once again
Motorola is reportedly gearing to launch new members of the Moto G5 line, dubbed Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus. Both devices are no stranger, as various details including design and partial specs sheet have already leaked. Now a new render of the Moto G5S Plus has hit the interwebs, along with specs once again.
The Moto G5S Plus will flaunt a premium looking body made of anodized aluminum with the antenna lines visible at the back. It has dual-cameras, front facing flash and a front mounted fingerprint scanner. It will have three slot design, meaning have dedicated slots for microSD card and dual-SIM.
The specs have been revealed once again, that's almost inline with specs revealed earlier this month by Evan Blass.
The Moto G5S Plus is said to have a 5.5-inch Full HD display, and equipped with Snapdragon 626 Mobile Platform (Snapdragon 625 according to Blass), 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. We can also expect a base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
The dual-camera consists of two 13MP units, one with RGB sensor and f/1.7 aperture, and the other monochrome sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The dual-cameras will offer features like depth information for bokeh effect, background replacement, and make select part of photo black-and-white. For selfies it gets a 8MP font shooter. The source also reveals that Moto G5S Plus will pack a 3072mAh battery.
The Moto G5S Plus's younger sibling, Moto G5S is expected to come with 5.2-inch Full HD display and a single camera.
It is still not known when Motorola plans to introduce the Moto G5S/G5S Plus. The company is holding an event in New York City on July 25 to present its flagship Moto Z2 Force, and given the flow of leaks, it is possible that the Moto G5S line along with the Moto X4 to be unveiled at that time.
