Moto M2 reportedly arriving in October with Helio P20 chip, 6GB RAM
The Moto M was Motorola's first smartphone to sport a metal body and is the company's only device till date to have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It was also the company's most successful smartphone of 2016, and Motorola claims to have sold a total more than 3 million units.
That said, Motorola is reportedly working on its successor, the Moto M2. Popular Motorola tipster Andri Yatim has revealed possible key specs, and a launch time frame.
According to the source, the Moto M2 will have 5.5-inch Full HD display, same as its predecessor, and will utilize MediaTek's Helio P20 processor. Interestingly, it will pack a massive 6GB RAM.
As with every Moto device, the Moto M2 is said to be offered in two variants - 4GB RAM/32GB storage and 6GB RAM/64GB storage. As for the announcement time, the Moto M2 is expected to come out sometime in October this year.
