Moto Z2 Force with Snapdragon 835, 6GB RAM spotted on AnTuTu

Motorola is expected to unveil the Moto Z2/Z2 Force on July 25 alongside Moto X4 and Moto G5S Plus at an event in New York. The Moto Z2 will be Motorola's first premium flagship device of the year packing high-end hardware. It is Moto's first device to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 Platform.

Last month, Moto Z2 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage surfaced on AnTuTu, and now a new high-end variant of Moto Z2 Force has been spotted on the benchmark website. As per the listing, it packs 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Apart from more RAM and storage, the rest of the specs are expected to be the same as Moto Z2. It will run Android 7.1.1 and flaunt dual-camera setup. The listing suggests that one of the sensor (or both) is 12MP, while the selfie camera is a 5MP shooter. The screen size is 5.5-inch and is expected to have QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution with AMOLED panel.

The main highlight of Moto Z2 'Force' version is the use of ShatterShield technology on the screen, making the screen indestructible and withstand tough impacts. It was first introduced on the Moto X line (Moto X Force) back in 2015, and was also utilized by Moto Z.

Leaked renders have already confirmed that Moto Z2 Force will have a metal unibody design, dual-tone selfie flash at the front (and back) for improved low-light selfie and Moto G5-like fingerprint scanner. The 16-pin connector is also present for attaching the optional Moto Mods. Sadly, like last year's Moto Z, the Moto Z2 will ditch 3.5mm audio jack in favor of USB Type-C (for audio output).
