Nokia 6 registration now open on Amazon India, release set for August 23

Amazon India has the exclusive rights to sell the Nokia 6 online in India. Today, the e-tailer has opened registrations for the device, and mentions that Nokia 6 will go on sale in the country a month later on August 23.

The Nokia 6 is priced at Rs. 14,999, and will come with launch offers such as up to Rs. 300 of on Kindle e-books, Rs. 2,500 of on Make My Trip (Rs. 1,800 on hotels & Rs.700 off on domestic flights), and 45GB of free data to Vodafone subscribers for five months. Amazon Prime users who pay via their Amazon Pay account will get Rs. 1,000 cashback.

To recap the specs of Nokia 6 is HMD Global's top of the line offering. It features 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, 16MP/8MP camera, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery. It ships with Android Nougat and supports 4G VoLTE.

Currently Nokia's smartphone portfolio include three smartphones including Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. The Nokia 3 has been priced at Rs. 9,499 and is already available for purchase in the country. The Nokia 5 costs Rs. 12,899 and will be available in the country from August 15.
